Accessibility Statement

Our goal

We want everyone to be able to use this site, including people who use a screen reader, navigate with a keyboard, zoom in to read, or have trouble telling certain colors apart. We're aiming to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

We're a construction company, not a tech company, so we won't pretend we've gotten everything perfect. But we take it seriously and we'll fix problems when we hear about them.

What we've done so far

  • Every page can be used with just a keyboard, and you can always see where you are on the page.
  • There's a “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page so you don't have to tab through the menu every time.
  • Pages use proper headings and landmarks so screen readers can jump around easily.
  • Project photos have text descriptions. Purely decorative images are hidden from screen readers so they don't get in the way.
  • Text and buttons have enough color contrast to be readable, and the site still works when you zoom in to 200%.
  • The quote form has clear labels, marks which fields are required, and tells you in plain words what needs fixing if something's missing.
  • We respect your device's “reduce motion” setting.
  • We check the site with automated testing tools (axe and Lighthouse) and by going through it ourselves with a keyboard.

Things we know about

  • Our Instagram link takes you to Instagram's website, which we don't control.
  • Photo descriptions are short. If you'd like more detail about any project, just ask and we'll gladly walk you through it.
